i have a lot of shoes.
for a guy, anyway... and don't even think about making a joke.
it's true. i have a lot of footwear. it's not a record or anything, but from what i've seen, i have more than the standard "three pairs" or so that guys usually have. how many, you ask? well, i like to keep my options open, and have these pairs:
1 pair black doc martens shoe with lug sole and buckle
1 pair black doc martens 3-eye steel toe shoe
1 pair black doc martens boots (the classic 8-eye)
1 pair black börn wavz (cool soles on 'em too)
1 pair brown ("cocoa") birkenstock milano
1 pair black birkenstock boston (don't really wear them anymore though)
1 pair light blue rockport sneakers
1 pair grey/blue adidas running shoes
1 pair tan specialized mtb shoes (spd compatible)
1 pair brown boot-style shoes (forget which brand)
1 pair black nunn bush dress shoes (dotted design)
1 pair black bass dress shoes
1 pair brown unlisted (kenneth cole) dress shoes
1 pair dark greenish-brown rockport slip-ons
1 pair grey/white heelys
2 pairs of tevas (one velcro, one click)
1 pair brown/black nike acg mids (very old, but still good)
1 pair black adidas sambas (also old, like 12 years)
grand total: 19
daaaaaaamn, and that's after getting rid of a couple (like my nubby adidas sandals, which i need another pair of). sure, it's not as much as some people, but i think it's a lot for a guy.

yeah sean, but i get most of 'em at marshalls (or as gifts), so it's like a third of what they would normally cost. and the heelys have reminded me that i'm a 6'3" uncoordinated person.
Wow... I thought I had too many shoes, and I only have 3 pairs... Black boots(worn in) Black boots(new in box) and Black lowtop boot like things...
My brother sells doc martens. Hooray for doc martens!
Dude, that's a lot of shoes. And expensive ones! I'd love a pair of doc martens, but alas, can only shop at payless. I have many pairs as well, but I need to weed through the pile. I think shoe collections are a genetic trait.
Save some of your shoe money and buy a GPS!
jennifer, you must know my mom or something... she had a ton of shoes. my collection covers about 14 years, and i didn't buy all of 'em, and those that i did weren't full price. heh. i'm done with shoes for now, so maybe i'll be able to get a gps before the summer's over...

The most amount I've ever had at any given time is maybe 8.
Now, I think off the top of my head I have like 4 or 5. I only wear 2 on a regular. 1 of my regulars happen to be classic chucks.
Im not a big shoes person. Who needs clothes anyway? lol
