  • how would you put the four elements together...?

    you know them, right?

    earth,
    air (or wind?), fire, water. simple enough, right? well, i'm trying to
    figure out how i would want to put them together for something i'm
    working on... so far, i'm thinking of it in a circle, going from earth
    to water to air to fire (e>w>a>f>). any other ideas? i'm
    thinking of it that way from the four stages of matter (there are more,
    but let's keep it simple), but i don't know if fire works into earth in
    the best way. then again, maybe i'm overthinking again.

    oh yeah, and happy labor day. heh.

  • Fire burns to create carbon (C) which is a huge part of both earth, and as a compound for air (CO2).

    Fire consumes air (to create C02), but it also changes water (H20) to air (O/02) (evaporation), as well as feeding the earth with carbon (fertilizer, etc).

    Water -> Air -> Fire -> Earth ->(?)

    Water transforms to Air, Air feeds Fire, Fire nourishes Earth. Not sure about the Earth -> Water though... aside from earth adding minerals to water.

    Oi vey... my brain hurts. Will think on this more and see if there's anything else I can come up with.

  • Generally if you're into rune casting, tarot and things like that, then each element has its own direction or quadrant. They are as follows:

    Earth - North

    Water - West

    Air - East

    Fire - South

  • I, too am using your skin.  I tried to make it my own... Im a newbie with HTML and Java Script makes me cry.  Fortunately I have a boyfriend that knows what he's doing and he'll help me add some cool stuff.  Anyway, thanks, your skin is the only I thought I could make my own :)
