  • do you cross-post?

For anyone out there with more than one site, how do you handle different postings? Do you have separate topics on each site, or cross-post the same thing to different audiences, or something else?

    Just an idea rolling around...

  • did you r the fm?

Wow, I'm glad coding in Python hasn't been like this... it doesn't get to this, right Sean?

  • attack of the flying week

Is this week flying by for anyone else?

I can't believe it's already afternoon on Wednesday. Pretty much every day since Friday has been going by really quickly, and I feel like I'm not getting anything done. Then again, maybe it's because I've been so busy that it's flying by. Since Friday night, I've visited two different parent's houses (my dad and my in-laws), helped rebuild a stone wall, driven back and forth from work five times, and worked more than normal...

    When is vacation again...?

  • making the rounds

It's been another four months, and I feel bad for not posting more often. What I really need to do is to post something to all of my spots and visit people...

I'd like to thank Sean for helping bring me back more regularly. With the great changes that the Xangods have made, it's easier than ever to make a page that's your own and at the same time still part of the Xanga community.

It's been six years, and I'm glad I could be a part of this place.

  • of all the things...

of all the things i'm thinking of, all i can think to say is, "i can't think of what it was, but just imagine me saying something clever and funny."

that's right, i've become one of those people... the one who comes by once in a while, posts something half-assed, then tries to justify it b..... HEY LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!

  • oops.

first though, it's been five years. don't have much to say about it right now though.

i totally missed the chance to update here. it's because i'm trying to get my main site off the ground:

    [ d ]
(that's a subtle hint asking you to please check it out and read and comment a little)

for those of you who aren't inclined to click, i found this video, and thought it was funny:

  • my wedding, site and xangaversary

    a couple of things

    ...actually, more than a couple.

first: 17 days, 5 hours until the wedding day. it's actually a lot more specific than that on my site... so go there and read. please. the countdown is on the upper right.

on the same vein... i've finally got content on my site. check it out and let me know what you think. i'm still gonna be on around here, but i'll be working on that site a lot too (hopefully).

third: i just noticed that i hit my five year xangaversary a week ago. whoa, five years. maybe i should go through and see what's happened and what i wrote in that time. feature idea: have something in the sidebar that's like an "on this day" that shows posts that people have done in the past.

  • t minus five weeks...

    that's right. 35 days exactly.

    thirty...
    five...
    days...
'til the wedding? what's left to do? there's a lot, and i'm not going to list it all here. most of the big stuff is figured out, and i'm hoping that we're going to be ready a few days ahead of time. dress, food, wedding party (both sides), cake, invites... all done (along with other stuff).

when do i start getting anxious?

  • this one's easy reading.

maybe that last post was a little confusing, or maybe my readership has dropped more than a little... what do people consider to be xangancient now? i've been here for five whole years on july 9th. do i get anything for that, besides a nice warm feeling that i've done a good job?

thanks go out to the xanga devs for putting this all together... and thanks to the people who have been around since the start. hell, thanks to everyone who reads this. it's always amazed me that there would be so many people reading something that i wrote, and that they would come back for more. there's something about demi-fame that i like. maybe it's the part about being known without worrying about paparazzi and scandal...

countdown to the wedding: 95 days.
