  • there's so much going on right now, i don't even have time to
    format this.

    yes, i mean that.

    how
    many of you come back more than once to check and see if i've written?
    more than once a week? more than a few times a week? is it part of your
    daily routine, or do you get an email? just curious, since i'm trying
    to figure out what i'm doing 'round here.

    xanga has
    been very good to me, and i like meeting people... so thank you for
    that. i'll still be around, but like many of the other xangancients,
    i'm not going to be around quite as much. feel free to leave comments,
    and i'll still be here, but not like the ol' days of
    "ohmygodihavetopost! it's been like four hours, did anyone eprop me
    yet?" (you know you've done that).

    ...and for those
    who are xangancients, what was the name of the person who got a lot of
    us here? heh.

    i read exclusively from my SIR (not even called that, anymore) and in response to comments I recieve.

  • Bianca, baby, but Bianca didn't help get me here. she actually deterred me. I had gotten an invite from a friend but I decided to wait to register, and when I got the invite from Bianca, I had decided that maybe it was more a spam-driven thing than anything. Anyways, I read from my SIR, and if your name is near the top I click and read. Maybe once a week do I do the subs browser.

    Oh my gosh, coming up on four years for me! yiiikes.

  • i read via the email updates... it's easier than checking in all the time. although that's how I got here this time.

    the downside is you don't get the protected posts via email. hint.

    Oh, but you were asking about you. Which is what the above stuff was (relatively) about. I still read the SIR when I get the chance, but I think about actually reading it less and less often.

    So, it's not a matter of clicking over here all of the time... It's a matter of reading through my SIR. My RSS feed (Sage, via Firefox) has utterly won out... I check that stuff religiously. Stuff without an RSS feed pretty much falls by the wayside.

    (And, as much as I dig your stuff, I'm not going out of my way to make a feed for it... If you've got it, you've got it. If you figured a way to set one up via Xanga, I'll have to check your source code, but it probably still won't bring me back to writing here... I'm rambling and making no sense now...)
